We are proud to announce, not one, not two BUT three new additional judges for The DailyDOOH Gala Awards…

  • Denis Gaumonde | France. Denis Gaumondie is the founder of Digital Media Village, a Paris-based consultancy providing market intelligence services to brands and digital place-based media.He started his career as a consultant and analyst for media consulting companies in France and Germany. In this capacity, he regularly advised leading telecom and media groups and was in charge of pan-European studies covering new TV services (IPTV, Internet TV, VoD, Catch-up TV), Radio, and Press. He also contributed to the first study about the European Digital Signage market. In 2008, he started the online portal Ooh-tv.fr, which became the leading French publication about Digital Place-Based Media and the Digital In/To Store. In 2012, he launched « Les Assises de l’Affichage Digital et Interactif «,a yearly conference about Digital and Interactive Out-of-Home. The event takes place at the prestigious University Paris Dauphine. In 2014, Denis started giving a course about DOOH to students of the same university.He can be reached at denisg@ooh-tv.com.
  • Dirk Hülsermann | Germany. Dirk Hülsermann established himself as an expert in the advertising and media industry and a specialist in the field of digital-out-of-home advertising in the course of various management positions in large multi-national companies, and in his role as Founder and President of the Out-of-Home Video Advertising Bureau Europe (OVAB Europe). Dirk started his career at a Klinger Group company before moving to Kyocera in 1997, where he became Director for Marketing and Corporate Communications in 2001. In 2005 his path took him to Mitsui Europe, where as Business Development Manager EMEA in the Investment Division, he was responsible for strategic investment in the fields of New Media and Digital-Out-of-Home (DOOH). Here he delivered the group’s largest ever joint-venture in the field of mobile marketing. Hülsermann’s main focus however, was on the detailed analysis of the global Digital-out-of-Home market, which helped him gain an intimate knowledge of the industry. In 2008, Neo Advertising recruited Hülsermann as Director Business Development. In this position he drove the rapid growth of this international group, in particular in the DOOH segment.
    As of 2011, Hülsermann heads NEC’s newly established DOOH Solutions business. He is using both his industry expertise and extensive network of contacts to implement the European market launch of NEC’s ad-serving platform VUKUNET, a web platform for the entire advertising workflow on DOOH networks, which has already been successfully launched in the US. Hülsermann also serves as Trustee and Managing Director of a Family Trust, which supports a number of charity projects to deprived children, as well as being a Non-Executive Director to several technology and investment companies in the UK.
  • Steve Nesbit | North America. Stephen (Steve) Nesbit is the owner of private advisory firm Prestonwood Trail Holdings and has invested in several companies in the Digital Media Industry and he currently sits on the Board of Directors of two companies in the sector.Mr. Nesbit has studied the industry from the advertising side at NGN, the technology side with Reflect and from the shopper marketing and behavioural side at Publicis. His digital media experience started with Next Generation Network, Inc. (NGN) where he served as the EVP of Operations, International and Business Development.For 5 years until early 2010, Mr. Nesbit served as the Chief Operating Officer and President of Reflect Systems, Inc. in Dallas, Texas. Reflect provides software, managed network services and consultative services for digital media networks (to many of the largest retail in-store digital advertising and merchandising networks in the North America including Target Stores, Verizon Wireless, and Best Buy. Reflect software grew to power over 200,000 displays in almost 11,000 stores in North America during Mr. Nesbit’s tenure at the company. Before Reflect, Mr. Nesbit served as the President and COO of MarketForward Corporation, a digital media, digital merchandising and advertising entity owned by the Publicis Groupe S. A. in Paris France.

Other judges include; Giuseppe Andrianò | Italy, Roi Iglesias | Spain and Raphaël PINOT | France – who have all sat on the judging jury and represented the industry since the event first took place back in 2012.

Now in its third year, this exclusive black tie event takes place Thursday Dec 4, 2014 at Banqueting House, London.
