Screen Media Expo Presentations Not To Miss

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

As you know loads of summits, conferences and events going on tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday at Screen Media Expo Europe and here is our pick of the presentations that we think you won’t want to miss…

Day 1

  • On Tuesday 7th April you have the first (and only) conflict. At 10:00 choose between Bill Collins, Decisionpoint Media explain in 30 minutes ‘How to re-establish retail’s role as a mass consumer medium‘ in POPAI’s Digital Media In Retail event or spend 20 minutes, from 10:00 at the DOOH Technology Summit…
  • We think there’s little of interest at the DOOH Technology Summit – it looks very much like a ‘vehicle’ for Sony to blow their own trumpet BUT Professor Michael Hulme was excellent at last week’s OAA event when talking about his work on the Third Space and so we think it’s probably a good bet to hear what he has to say in his presentation ‘The “Visual Wealth” Research Project‘ at 10:00.
  • In the DOOH Media Summit get yourself over at 11.30 to listen to Chris Marjoram, managing director, international, IPM and his talk ‘A global perspective on DOOH
  • At 14:00 also at the DOOH Media Summit it will be worthwhile hearing the thoughts of Mark Middlemas, managing partner, business development, Universal McCann who has put loads of business digital’s way. He will be discussing ‘How DOOH enhances the brand experience
  • The last presentation of the first day that we think will be really interesting is between between 16:00 – 17:00 in the BroadSign Presentation Suite where Gunnar Kämpgen will be talking about ‘, how to simplify the DOOH buying process?

Day 2

  • At 10:30 on Wednesday 8th April presentations get off to a good start in the DOOH Investors Conference with Brian Pohl, Partner, Orthus Partners talking about the ‘Deal Flow in the DOOH Space
  • At 12:00 in the Digital Media In Retail event we think that Cyril Michel, CEO, Mirane will be giving a good perspective in his speech ‘Digital Signage in POS : the business models that work
  • Last but not least between 13.00 – 14.00 in the BroadSign Presentation Suite you should listen to what Dirk Hülsermann, Director Business Development International Neo Advertising GmbH has to say about ‘OVAB Europe
