Club Media Systems Ltd. Directors Disqualified

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

We note that Garry Wayne O’Loughlin and Nicola Martin Hobson, directors of Club Media Systems Limited, based in Blackpool, which traded as a provider of digital advertising services, have been disqualified for a total of nine and a half years.

The Insolvency Service press release (you can read it in full here) states that the disqualification was for entering into agreements to provide advertising services which it was unable to provide and failing to make sure the company paid tax due to HMRC.

The company was placed into liquidation on 21 March 2012 with an estimated deficiency of GBP 739,179.

However, we hear that they may not have disappeared completely though. We have it on good authority that they are (still) the brains behind CMS Media in Ireland – installing TV systems in hospitals across the Emerald Isle, ahem, with advertising and CMS (AV) Ltd which installs TV systems into schools – sort of like the Life Channel but without a conscience.

They may have also branched out into Canada we believe under the name Skyways Media.
