Advantage LED Signs Brings Production In House

In an increasingly globalized, cost-conscious sign industry, outsourced manufacturing has become inevitable for most sign companies, but Advantage LED Signs. Houston, has detached itself from outside wholesale sign manufacturers and has taken the initiative to tackle ID cabinet production, with a new fabrication department.

Established in 2009, Advantage LED Signs is a US manufacturer of LED signs and LED Billboards, selling direct to businesses and organizations nationwide.

“There have been obvious hurdles with bringing production in-house, but the results I am seeing are fantastic,” says Richard James, vice-president of sales and marketing for Advantage.

Keeping the manufacturing process in-house has enabled Advantage LED to control project lead times and quality for their clients, which can be seemingly impossible when relying on an outside wholesale manufacturer. Advantage can now quickly react to an ever-changing market and directly control the quality of the products in which they take pride.

“Building our own signs and configuring these signs to be easily installed by our clients is something we have not done in the past, but it is now possible with our new fabrication department,” says James. “We are now able to provide clients with the quality and service that they deserve.

Manufacturing, permitting, installation, content creation, comprehensive software training, and technical support are now all under one roof, allowing Advantage LED to provide a one-stop shop.

James says, “Advantage LED has chosen the higher road of assisting the client through the entire sign process, rather than dumping a finished product in their lap and letting them suffer through permitting and installation, which we all know is not easy in any way.”
