During Sarubbi’s term and under her leadership, the Digital Signage Federation established its Regional Council Program, comprised of member-initiated and supported groups formed to provide professional development and networking opportunities that help initiate and propel business and industry growth in each area.

The Digital Signage Federation Legacy Award recognizes exemplary leadership, service to our membership, and to the digital signage industry.

Each term the DSF’s Chairman has the opportunity to create a legacy that is in some way designed to support the business goals of its members.

Previous Legacy Award recipients included:

  • Philip Cohen, 2013 Chairman (Legacy:Meet & Greet Networking Events);
  • Alan Brawn, 2012 Chairman (Legacy: First National Education Standards for Digital Signage);
  • Robert Stowe, 2011 Chairman (Legacy: Seal of Professional Excellence).

“The DSF accomplished so much under Kim’s leadership in 2014 and enters 2015 stronger than ever,” says Ken Goldberg, 2015 DSF chairman. “Without doubt, Kim’s legacy project is the creation and emergence of Regional Councils, which has tapped into the energy of local industry participants and enabled them to have a voice, share perspectives and resources and generate new ideas. It was a great idea that was executed well, and it will benefit individuals as well as companies and the industry at large.”

Sarubbi will be presented with the DSF Legacy Award Tuesday, March 10,at the Keynote Breakfast at #dse2015.
