We had heard that IMRSV [1], developers of CARA (whose software always bore an uncanny resemblance to market leader Quividi’s) was for sale but we stumbled upon this news [2] that Kairos [3], a Miami-based face recognition start-up, has acquired them. We haven’t seen any (other) press releases and Kairos seems to have no links to the Digital Signage world.
