Whilst IZON Media may well play down yet another high profile departure, losing long time smart guy Reid Butler is bound to be a bit of a blow.
Reid was most recently Director, Product Management but had been with Premier Retail Networks in a variety of roles since 2001.
Scarily for employees and shareholders at SONIFI Solutions, Inc. (formerly LodgeNet) we note that former IZON Media CEO, Ahmad Ouri who was unceremoniously dumped at the beginning of this year is their new CEO. Watch out for a pointless name change and re-branding exercise followed by a year or so of picking up a big salary.

Very happy for Reid. This will be a fun change of pace for someone who spent 15 years at the same company. That’s right 15 solid years when most people in this industry barely stop for a cup of coffee.
As for Ahmad, also happy. Apparent Sonifi already had their name change under prior leadership. Ahmad is solid despite your sarcasm, and we were lucky to have him. I think if you actually talked to an IZON employee you’d know that. Journalistic sourcing through Linked In is skin deep at best. And just because he did not do your interviews or pay your advertising fees does not make him a poor leader.
