Outfront Media inked a new five-year deal with Miami-Dade Transit last week.

Under its terms with Miami-Dade Transit, Outfront Media (formerly CBS Outdoor) will provide advertising services to Florida’s largest public transit system for five years, with two optional five-year extensions. The contract cvers rail and bus vehicles, station, and the Miami-Dade Transit’s downtown Metromover.

Outfront has agreed to pay Miami-Dade Transit at least $17.25 million over the term of the agreement.

Outfront also plans to install its new digital platform for ads on digital displays throughout the MDT system, with testing due to begin later this year. The new platform, announced in late 2014, combines addressable displays with programmatic capabilities and cloud distribution.
