NanoLumens Shows NanoSlim Engage in Europe

Gail Chiasson, North American Editor

NanoLumens, Norcross, Georgia, which introduced its NanoSlim Engage to the EMEA market in December, had a successful introduction of the front installable and front serviceable product in Europe last week.

nanoLumens engageNext on the market is North America, where it will be introduced at #dse2015.

On its showing in Europe, the NanoSlim Engage was immediately named Product of the Month by the European systems integration magazine, Installation.

Nate Remmes, NanoLumens’ vice-president of marketing and business development, says, “NanoSlim Engage is a great step forward for designers, integrators, and end-users who are demanding an easy-to-install and easy-to-service 2.5MM pixel pitch solution that can be viewed with spectacular edge-to-edge clarify from very short distances. NanoSlim Engage is the only solution that makes this possible practical for a broad range of smaller installation environments like conference rooms, board rooms, and command and control centers.”

Like all NanoLumens solutions, NanoSlim Engage comes supported by the industry’s only six year, zero failure warranty.

We asked Remmes why, as a North American company, NanoLumens decided to introduce Engage in Europe before North America. He says, ”We wanted to show our commitment to that market, and ISE seemed the best place to show the product to the Europeans. The timing was right.

“It was of big interest because of the fact that Engage is not only serviceable from the front but also can be installed from the front makes the product unique. It saves space for other operations, as well.”

The introduction of the NanoLumens’ NanoSlim Engage comes at a time of record-breaking growth and expansion for the pioneering Georgia-based company that developed the world’s first flexible LED visual display. In Oct./14, the company opened its EMEA region office and showroom in the UK and named industry veteran David DaCosta to serve as its managing director in the region. In December, the company ended a year which management says resulted in explosive revenue growth. In Jan./15, the company announced that it had secured $13.3-million in new financing from an offering of debt and securities. And all of this occurred against a backdrop of major new sales to blue chip clients in the retail, transportation, hospitality, higher education, stadiums, corporate, and gaming channels.

While Remmes wasn’t able to release NanoLumens 2014 figures yet, he says that the company has had triple year-over-year growth since releasing its first products in 2011. It previously spent five years in R&D.

“We always want to be sure our products are perfect before going to market – which helps account for NanoLumens being able to offer its six-year zero-failure warranty,” he says.
