SignVine Is No More

Gail Chiasson, North American Editor

SignVine, the company begun a year ago to help non-profits obtain money for digital signage through crowd funding, has ceased operation.

A message on the website says ‘Thanks everyone, but we must say Goodbye…for now”. An email address for Michael Prongue, campaign director, is no longer viable, and phone messages to Prongue and one of the co-founders have yet gone unanswered.

This seemed like a good project, so perhaps that ‘….for now’ message may mean a restructuring. However, we wondered from the beginning whether there was much in the way of monetization possibilities to support it.
