Omnivex Corporation, Concord, Ontario-based visual communications solutions company, was recently mentioned as a representative vendor in Gartner’s Market Guide for Operational Intelligence.

Gartner defines an operational intelligence platform as a suite of development and runtime software tools that monitor, alert or support interactive operational decision making by providing data and analytics about current conditions.

According to Gartner, “The market for operational intelligence platforms is gaining traction and momentum because companies want to improve the situation awareness and sense-and-respond capabilities of their decision makers, and prefer to buy rather than build the software that provides these functions.”

The Omnivex operational intelligence platform, Omnivex Moxie, enables organizations to collect, process and display targeted information across their businesses on various devices, including large digital screens, kiosks, video walls, and tablets. It offers bidirectional data exchange — by collecting and distributing data to people through devices then collects data from the devices and sends it back to central server software for analysis. Omnivex Moxie uses metatags to automate the distribution of data and metrics ensuring that the most current and accurate information reaches the user in real time.

“We believe our inclusion as a representative vendor in the Gartner Market Guide validates why organizations around the world rely on Omnivex Moxie to get the right information to the right people at the right time to make informed decisions,” said Doug Bannister, Omnivex CEO. “Our platform helps organizations achieve real business goals – increase revenue, reduce cost, build brand awareness, enhance employee productivity, and improve customer loyalty.”
