Interactive Photo Booths Promote TV Show

Kinetic USA did an interesting experiential execution this month to create awareness for the third season of Netflix‘s series ‘Orange Is The New Black’.

Kinetic installed four 14′ high interactive photo booths, each adorned with a lead character from the show, that were clustered together in Father Duffy Square in Times Square, New York. Each of the booths was outfitted with a camera that took the users’ photos. The photos were approved, then displayed on the digital board adjacent to the booths.

The booths were open from 10 am to 10 pm, with the photos displayed on the boards between the hours of 5 pm to 8 pm. Street teams were on hand to attract passersby and instruct them on how to use the booths and when they could see their photos.

On Wednesday, two of the actresses from the show, Laura Prepon and Laverne Cox, made an appearance at the booths and interacted with fans.
