PlaceWise Media & @Gimbal Shopping Mall Installation

Gimbal, Inc., a proximity-based mobile advertiser, has partnered with PlaceWise Media, a provider of digital media services for the shopping mall industry, to install the company’s beacon systems in more than 60 malls and retail centers by the end of the year.

The beacons, of which Gimbal claims to be the world’s largest provider, will provide a means for retailers to personalize customers’ shopping experiences through opt-in in-store promotions and discounts.
