Cincinnati Reds Add @Daktronics Display Prior to All-Star Events

Baseball’s Cincinnati Reds, in a partnership with Procter & Gamble, turned to Daktronics to manufacture a new LED video display that will be installed at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, in time for the Reds to host the All-Star events next week.
Daktronics will also have three experienced technicians on hand during the game for event service and support.

This quick-turn project features a 13HD pixel layout for the 31’ high by 90’ wide LED video display. This Daktronics display will provide excellent image clarity and contrast with wide angle visibility to appeal to every seat in the stadium. It features variable content zoning to allow for one large image across the entire display or multiple smaller zones to show a variety of live video, instant replays, scoring information, up-to-the-minute statistics, graphics and animations, sponsor messages and other venue announcements.
Prior to the baseball season, Daktronics installed a ‘Batters Eye’ ribbon display along the fascia of the seating area. It measures approximately 3.5’ high by 109’ wide to provide additional statistics and game information, but can also be used to highlight sponsors throughout the game. In the past, Daktronics had installed eight different LED video displays at Great American Ball Park including fascia displays, auxiliary displays and the main outfield display featuring more than 5,300 sq. ft. of display space.
