Rouge Media, Montreal, has launched a new DOOH network across North America, giving brands the opportunity to engage audiences through dynamic audio and video capabilities.

DOOH CampusThe unique DOOH network is comprised of digital screens that simultaneously act as free phone charging stations.

The charging stations are strategically located in high traffic, high mobile usage environments in over 1000 venues throughout Rouge’s Beauty, Resto-Bar and Campus networks.

“With the rise of mobile, we felt strongly that our high dwell time environments demanded DOOH screens that were not simply a passive interaction with audiences,” says Martin Poitras, CEO and founder, Rouge Media Group. “The free charging aspect is a practical and in-demand service that allows brands the opportunity to surprise and delight the consumer.”

Clients that have taken advantage of this innovative DOOH network launch include, TD Bank, H&R Block, LVMH, Bayer, Fido and VIA Rail.

DOOH Campus2Rouge’s DOOH network launch is the result of a long-term, exclusive partnership with Toronto-based DanTeb, a major supplier of premium charging stations.

“Rouge’s entrepreneurial culture and proven performance in the Canadian media market made them an ideal media company for DanTeb to partner with,” says Laura Miller, director of operations and distribution, DanTeb Enterprises. “Rouge’s strong focus in place-based channels such as Beauty, Campus and Resto-Bar, naturally aligns with DanTeb’s strategy of locating its charging stations in places that are both convenient to users and provide unique opportunities for advertisers to connect with their targeted demographic.“

“We are constantly focused on innovation and firmly believe with the advent of Mobile, our place-based environments are the optimal channel to drive engagement and results for brands,” says Poitras. “The industry can expect us to introduce two new media channels within the next six months.”
