Exterion Media Sponsors TfL’s Transported by Design Programme

Exterion Media this week announced its sponsorship of ‘Transported by Design’, in recognition of the importance good design plays in making everyday journeys inspirational.

Transported by Design, launched by Transport for London (TfL), London Transport Museum and their partners, is an 18-month programme of events, exhibitions and competitions celebrating the role of good transport design in London over the last 150 years.

Exterion Media will hold a range of events celebrating great design and creativity, as well as technology innovation, in OOH on transport networks.

Transported by Design’s 2015/16 programme kicked off with ‘Design Icons’ – the search for London’s most iconic transport designs or designers – as voted by the public. Voting for this event will stay open until 1 October. Other highlights will include:

  • ‘London by Design’, a season of events at the London Transport Museum, beginning in September 2015 and running throughout 2016
  • Activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the iconic Johnston typeface, January 2016
  • The Regent Street festival, summer 2016
  • Unveiling of a commemoration at Piccadilly Circus station to former London Transport Chief Executive, Frank Pick, autumn 2016
