EuroShop [1] is looking more and more like an event that the digital signage and digital out of home sectors should have taken an interest in – for those companies spending their marketing budgets on useless printing shows in the middle of England, take note!!
Over the last 12 months a number of folks have asked us about LCD or TFT PDP Mirrors – screens that are digital one minute and a mirror the next. We first covered this here [2] but have since learnt a little bit more about the technology.
One of the best mirror systems we have seen to date is from the German manufacturer Woehburk [3].
Woehburk will be exhibiting Transparent, Black and Mirror Screens on stand G52 in Hall 3 at Euroshop in a few days times.
If we have translated it correctly then the screens are shown embedded in a concrete wall (should be interesting).
