Uber launched in Las Vegas [1] back in September – although it’s only UberX, UberXL, and Uber Select, Ed. For the duration of #CES2016 all their cars will have WiFi.
Uber is using Vinli hardware which includes a T-Mobile 4G LTE hotspot, which Uber will be using to serve riders with WiFi.
Dallas based Vinli [2] raised USD 6.5 million this year having launched in 2014.
