Electronics and advertising professionals attending the show can be the first to see the new Brightbox model at the Engadget booth GL-12 and at the invitation-only AOL C-Suite presentation at the Aria Hotel.

CES 2016 marks the launch of the Brightbox’s new BrightEyeQaudience measurement module offering, which increases advertising and sponsorship ROI for clients and sponsors.

“We are proud to bring to the world’s top electronics event the latest in secure charging technology, having been selected by Engadget, one of the top industry experts in emerging tech, to keep their guests connected at the show,” says Billy Gridley, Brightbox CEO.

The BrightEyeQ audience measurement module captures audience data in real-time and delivers an anonymized set of metrics to help brands and sponsors know more about consumers interacting with Brightbox.

Using the BrightEyeQ module, clients can not only access detailed reporting metrics for consumer engagement on Brightbox charging stations (average charging time, repeat customers, usage heat maps and more), but can also accurately measure consumer views and attention times, and receive estimates of audience gender and age distributions. The data is captured in real-time and instantly analyzed to deliver an anonymous set of metrics to help retailers, brands and sponsors understand consumer engagement for each Brightbox location. The quality and depth of the reporting enables clients to maximize the effectiveness of the Brightbox value proposition and understand the impact of their marketing and advertising efforts.

“We strongly believe that BrightEyeQ fills a gap missing in digital signage by delivering real accountability,” says Joel Martin, vice-peresident of brands and experiential at Brightbox. “It is clear to us that our digital advertising platform can produce better campaign results via this new module, and eliminate some of the inconsistencies inherent in traditional indoor mall advertising.”

Also at CES, Brightbox will be the first secure charging solution on the market to offer USB-C charging support for the latest generation of smartphones. The new USB-C cable delivers convenience that allows consumers to charge their USB-C enabled devices with a reversible-plug connector that charges in either orientation, while providing quick and safe power when on the go. With the addition of the USB-C charging cable, Brightbox will be able to continue to serve 98% of the smartphones on the market. Brightbox is committed to delivering secure, safe and reliable power for mobile users when they need it most, with a LINUX-based connected platform solution and kiosk product offerings that are the most innovative and sophisticated in the global marketplace.

Brightbox offers retailers and marketers a trifecta solution: secure mobile re-charging, digital signage and interactivity. The Brightbox platform is open to clients for management of a network of connected, out-of-home charging kiosks. Partners and clients can access the Brightbox platform to directly manage their own video content and messaging, download reporting data and analytics, and remotely support their fleet.

Founded in 2011, Brightbox delivers advanced and innovative solutions, and has deployed its secure recharging kiosks in five countries and 27 states in a variety of vertical markets including retail, hospitality, entertainment, events, healthcare, and more.
