Abcon Outdoor Large-format Inventory Acquired by @CieslokMedia

Cieslok Media, Toronto-based premium large-format outdoor advertising company, has acquired seven large format locations from Abcon Outdoor Inc., an alternative out-of-home media advertising company.

Cieslok logoThis strategic acquisition is expected to further cement Cieslok Media as the premium OOH leader in the city of Toronto, a key Canadian market for advertisers.

The acquired inventory is located in some of the city’s busiest spots and includes one of Toronto’s largest wall banners. The additional premium OOH locations will help brands reach the Toronto audience, including locals and commuters, going to and from major hubs like the financial, fashion, and shopping districts. The new locations connects with audiences through one of the only mediums that people do not ignore, outdoor advertising.

Speaking of starting the new year offering brands seven additional large format ad spots in downtown Toronto, “which continues to be a rare OOH commodity,” says Jörg Cieslok, president and CEO, Cieslok Media, “These additions are perfectly aligned with our goal to offer brands some of the largest, high impact displays across major hubs in the city.”

“None of the locations are digital and there is no plan to convert them to digital at this time,”4 says Michelle Bertumen, director, national outdoor sales for Cieslok.

The acquisition follows the recent partnership announcement between Cieslok Media and SITO Mobile, offering advertisers the opportunity to engage consumers at the device level through mobile marketing and OOH mobile integration. In addition, Cieslok Media has recently announced four new digital screens in the city of Mississauga and upgraded digital displays in Toronto’s landmark Yonge-Dundas Square and historical China Town.
