Surf’s Up For @Signagelive at #ISE2016

It looks like Signagelive changed their focus somewhat for this year’s #ISE2016. They seem to have moved away from showcasing the technology they support, to showing real-world, ‘surf shop themed’ use cases of how Signagelive is being used by 1,350+ digital signage networks in 40 countries at the moment.

Signagelive Stand ISE 2016

Signagelive’s booth (Stand 8-K318, located in Hall 8) has been designed to represent a variety of user scenarios, including retail, quick serve restaurant (QSR) and corporate communications to demonstrate how customers can use Signagelive’ cloud-based software platform, and take static signage applications into the interactive world.

Using Signagelive, applications such as emergency messaging, triggered live TV and assistive point of sale (PoS) can be quickly and easily be created in a cloud environment.  These are designed in HMTL5 for System on Chip (SoC) technologies, eliminating the need for onsite media players and providing a single management interface for both standard and interactive digital signage applications.

The retail zone will feature an array of Smart displays in different configuration formats, orientations and sizes. Signagelive will demonstrate how its assisted PoS application can be used to create an enhanced retail experience for customers to encourage brand loyalty and increase sales.

The QSR zone will comprise a series of interactive menu boards that can be updated and managed in real time via mobile devices. In the corporate zone, Signagelive will demonstrate how large enterprises can use its multi-zoning capabilities to display corporate news, live TV, social media content and ticker feeds on Smart Signage displays to improve internal communications.

Jason Cremins, CEO of Signagelive told us “Mobile and Internet technologies are rapidly evolving and merging, and as a result we are seeing the development of innovative Apps to increase user. To maintain our position as a top supplier of digital signage technology we must ensure our platform seamlessly interfaces with near field communications and location based technologies and our stand at ISE will clearly demonstrate how we are achieving this through a variety of real world examples.”

Signagelive’s cloud-based software platform is written in HTML5 and provides full support for different content formats including static images, HD video, web pages, IPTV feeds, multi-zoning for different media types, image layering, RSS feeds, portrait support and screen on and off control. It also comprises optional proof of content and delivery functionality for better network and campaign management.

Signagelive will also be demonstrating its cloud-based digital signage platform and support for a wide range of media playback technologies on a number of partner booths, including those of Samsung and LG.
