For anyone who missed the most prestigious industry awards ceremony of 2015, here’s a chance to catch up with it in this 20-minute highlights video- if you were one of the fortunate 220 who did attend, you can relive the evening and maybe spot yourself among the revellers!, Ed

In addition to the ten awards given out on the night, we’d like to add some of our own kudos and recognise the contribution of the co-presenters who got to say those magic words “…and the winner is…”

  • Clear winner in the category ‘Best Dressed Man’ was Outsmart’s Alan Brydon, who with his sharply-tailored deep burgundy DJ easily outsmarted the rest of us…

  • Sarah ‘I Got the Giggles’ Parkes was an obvious choice as ‘Party Girl of the Evening’, ready to get up and boogie at the slightest provocation…

  • ‘Best Sting Lookalike’ goes to Brian Dusho, now of Civiq Smartscapes, who has consistently been scooping up this award since his BroadSign days…

  • More accustomed to the red carpet in Cannes, Laurence Farenc from the Club du Digital Media in France brought an extra touch of Gallic charm to the proceedings and strolled off with the first-ever ‘Most Elegant French Lady’ trophy.

  • ‘Tallest Texan of the Evening’ was undoubtedly globally renowned consultant Steve Nesbit, who flies over every year to what he generously describes as the ‘Best Event of the Year’.

  • Stefano De Troia was the only contestant in the ‘Smartest Italian’ category and might well have beaten off some strong competition from the assembled Spaniards, Germans, Scandewegians and Beneluxers in the room if there had been a ’European of the Night’ category.

  • FEPE International’s John Ellery was again clear winner in the ‘Elder Statesman of the Year’ category and as always brought a much-appreciated touch of gravitas to the festivities.

  • Well-known for his discretion, Barco’s Paul Mathijs was undisputed winner in the ‘Most Modest Man of the Evening’ section, politely stepping aside when a bevy of seven Verifone Media beauties invaded the stage to collect their ‘Best Transport Install or Campaign’ award.

  • ‘Haircut of the Evening’ was undoubtedly Scala’s Harry Horn sporting that fit ‘n’ healthy male model look.

  • And last but not least, the DailyDOOH’s very own Editor-in-Chief, Adrian J. Cotterill again walks off with the ‘Best Adrian Jobs Lookalike’ – a category that he created and dominated last year…
