#dse2016 To Host @SEGD’s DesignX Workshop

#dse2016, taking place March 15-18, 2016, will host a two-day event presented by the Society for Experiential Graphic Designs that is designed specifically for professionals involved in creating compelling and information-rich spaces for inspiration, education and networking.

SEGD’s ‘DesignX Workshop: Designing Customer Experiences’ will take place 8am to 5pm, Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The following day will feature a tour of the #dse2016 show floor to meet with DesignX sponsor vendors.

The program will include a total of five modules about customer experience:

  • Creating the Digital Dream Team;
  • Aligning content to user and client needs;
  • Navigating platform choices;
  • Project budgeting for digital;
  • Trend opportunities.

“When Design and Technology come together to produce new experiences, the magic really starts to happen in an industry!” says Clive Roux, CEO of SEGD. “That is why DSE and SEGD are working to bring these communities closer together.”

Andrea Varrone, DSE show director, says, “SEGD’s program is a perfect fit with Digital Signage Expo because our attendees are increasingly interested in integrating digital displays into their venues as part of the built environment. SEGD understands the importance of this trend to the architects and designers who are charged with incorporating digital communications technologies into the physical spaces they are designing.”

SEGD is the global, multidisciplinary community of professionals who plan, design, and build experiences that connect people to place. Membership includes graphic and information designers, fabricators, architects, exhibition designers, technology integrators, interaction designers, brand strategists, students, wayfinding specialists, teachers, and others who have a hand in shaping content-rich, experiential spaces. SEGD has 1,621 members in more than 20 countries.
