#ISE2016 @Navori Labs 2 Introduce QL StiX 3500

Did you know that the Swiss digital signage software specialist Navori Labs was the first digital software company to develop a native Android player in 2012?

Back then it offered the same content playout features as its Windows player to ensure that networks could harmoniously support a mix of players.

At #ISE2016 and at #dse2016 we understand that Navori Labs will introduce QL StiX 3500, its second-generation media player.

The sleek design of QL StiX 3500 provides customers with a dongle-style player featuring 16GB of content storage (upgradeable to 32GB), plus an integrated Ethernet port and Wi-Fi networking to support network connectivity. 4K content is supported through its 16-core GPU, which enables multi-layer and multi-zone content support, as well as multi-video rendering and transparency for an exceptional visual experience.

QL StiX 3500 additionally enhances system control and maintenance through several integrated features. Navori Labs’ TeamViewer remote software allows users to access players from any networked location, eliminating the need for onsite support. Furthermore, HDMI connectivity enables video signal control for programming screens to turn on and off. This feature is compatible with all commercial and professional grade screens. An internal battery also strengthens network protection, storing the current date and time so that the device continues to play content while offline.

For Navori Labs customers, the continued evolution of the company’s Android products will further reduce costs – think 1/5th the cost of a standard media player – of network deployment and maintenance. Its greater flexibility also simplifies the integration of screens in more challenging locations, including elevators, taxi cabs and other sites with tight space requirements.

Jerome Moeri, CEO, Navori Labs told us “The Android operating system has all the characteristics required for digital signage networks,” said “It’s a powerful and stable operating system that is easier to deploy and maintain than Windows, and does not require specific technical knowledge for users. Navori Labs further simplifies this with a 100-percent plug-and-play design that can easily be installed by an end user or non-IT personnel.”

Navori can be found at #ISE2016 in Hall 8 on Stand 8.N225 and at #dse2016 on Stand 2218.
