Christopher Bentler Joins Allvision

Christopher Bentler will join Allvision, Toronto, in February as vice-president, business development, with responsibility for overseeing development of new media assets in North America.

ChrisBentlerThis will include all government relations, leasing, and construction activities. He joins Allvision from Cieslok Media, Toronto.

“Back in 2005, I became founding partner of a company focused on building a place-based digital advertising network in healthcare facilities,” says Bentler. “After four years of growing this indoor media business, I was drawn more to outdoor advertising for its high impact ability and challenges from an entitlement perspective. (It’s more political and strategic!) Therefore, I joined Titan Outdoor in Canada in 2008 to eventually become vice-president, business development and operations, leading the company’s national operations, leasing, and development efforts.

“In this role, I played an integral role in the management buyout of Titan Outdoor’s Canadian assets (which later became Cieslok Media), as well as the purchase of Clarity Outdoor Media Inc., and AdQ Media. I also expanded the company’s digital media assets in Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Edmonton, doubling the highest annual revenue in the company`s history.”

Allvision already has a roster of exceptional outdoor advertising developers, because, says Bentler, “They are the best in the business at capitalizing on new media assets, and, whether through municipalities, public agencies, or private landlords, have opportunities unmatched in the industry.”

Allvision represents clients across North America and manages a growing portfolio of more than 3,000 outdoor advertising assets. To date, Allvision has developed projects that will generate over $850 million in revenue for its partners.

Greg Smith, CEO of Allvision, says, “We are delighted to have Bentler join our team behind the leadership of Blair Murdoch, our president. The combination of these two seasoned veterans will truly be a powerhouse in the industry.”
