London, UK, 25 February 2008 – Screen Events Ltd today announced the agenda and speaker line up for the upcoming Screen Media India conference taking place on 20th March 2008 at the Taj Land’s End hotel in Mumbai. This exclusive one-day event will consist of keynote presentations, themed sessions and in-depth panel discussions. Speakers selected from the digital signage and advertising sectors in Asia, Europe and the Americas will share their experiences in deploying screen media, offer practical tips for success, and explore the ways in which the ‘fourth screen’ intersects with other media to support brands and messages.

Morning keynote presentations will be delivered by Chetan Madaya, chief executive officer (CEO) and group chief strategy officer (CSO) for Laqshya Digital Media, Brian Dusho, CSO for BroadSign International, as well as Dr L.S. Kanodia, founder and chairman for Datamatics. Dr Kanodia, one of the founding fathers of the Indian software industry, will be imparting advice to delegates and highlighting his experience in the country’s significant IT sector to explore the challenges and opportunities likely to be mirrored in the screen media market as it progresses.

Afternoon talks will run on two tracks. Room A – The ‘Applied Knowledge Track’ will feature Chris Frampton, director, international business development and marketing for Dynamax Technologies, Andrew McCall, managing director for ROI Team, and Rajesh Jog, founder of Waygate Capital.

Presenting in Room B – The ‘Thought Leadership Track’ on the advertising perspective of screen media will be Lynn de Souza, director of media services for Lintas Media Group, Pranesh Misra, global director of marketing accountability for Lowe & Partners Worldwide, and Kamal Oberoi, chairman and managing director for M&C Saatchi. Joining them from the network owner’s field will be Ritesh Gupta, senior consultant, TV Asia/Asia Image and Screens.tv, and Rajan Mehta, founder of LiveMedia P.R. SATHEESH and chief operating officer (COO) for Tag Media.

Also, discussing the technology suppliers’ point of view will be Kevin B. Howard, CEO and co-founder for ICG, Eli Sasson, CEO for Minicom Advanced Systems, and Prabhu Venkatesh, business manager – digital signage for 3M India.

In addition, Screens.tv editor Barnaby Page will act as chairperson for the concluding panel session, which will discuss the key points of the conference proceedings and identify the trends that will drive India’s screen media sector into 2009 and beyond.
