During Goldberg’s term and under his leadership, the Digital Signage Federation, the independent not-for-profit trade organization serving the digital signage industry, expanded into Europe through an agreement with the organization formerly known as OVAB Europe, now DSF Europe.

The establishment of a European affiliate organization is intended to unify the DSF’s industry advocacy efforts and educational advancement across geographic boarders and around the world.

The Digital Signage Federation Legacy Award recognizes exemplary leadership, service to the DSF membership, and to the digital signage industry. Each term, the DSF’s Chairman has the opportunity to create a legacy that is in some way designed to support the business goals of its members.

Previous Legacy Award recipients included:

  • Kimberly Sarubbi, 2014 chairman, for setting up the Regional Council Program
  • Philip Cohen, 2013 chairman, for establishing the Meet & Greet Networking Events
  • Alan Brawn, 2012 chairman, for development of the National Education Standards for Digital Signage
  • Robert Stowe, 2011 chairman, for establishing the Seal of Professional Excellence

“Ken’s contribution puts the Digital Signage Federation and our industry on the worldstage, opening the door to future international expansion, and at the same time, creates new networking and business opportunities for both our North American and European members,” says Randy Dearborn, 2016 DSF chairman.
