All-in-one displays are ideal for interactive, information-based kiosks in busy consumer and visitation spaces. This includes ‘end of aisle’ deployments in supermarkets and retail stores, as well as on large campuses – both corporate and higher education – and exhibit-based environments, such as museums, zoos and parks.

Developed in partnership with Thinlabs, a Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of specialized thin client and desktop computing solutions, the Carousel All-In-One display systems offer a rugged and appealing kiosk design to withstand heavy use in high-traffic locations. Its interactive properties are elevated through 22” projective capacitive touch displays with built-in quadcore computing to accelerate content delivery, intelligently organized and delivered on-demand by Carousel’s powerful content playout software.

Systems integrators and electrical contractors can benefit from the system’s Power over Ethernet connectivity, which minimizes wiring and eliminates high-voltage concerns. This simplifies initial deployments, requiring only a low-voltage Ethernet cable to connect the kiosk to the network. Ongoing maintenance is streamlined through hot-swappable motherboards, and a three-year warranty provides additional assurances and protections for customers whether deploying standalone systems or a large network of kiosks.

“Many of our customers have requested an all-in-one kiosk solution that marries the data-rich benefits of Carousel software with an interactive touchscreen that provides a familiar tablet-like user experience,” says Eric Henry, vice-president of signage solutions, Tightrope Media Systems. “This innovation brings that responsive, high-performance touchscreen experience to consumers through a design that is both easy to deploy and maintain over many years, lowering total cost of ownership for the end user.”
