Clear Channel Canada’s operations team, working in conjunction with Fallsview Casino, recently executed a larger than life 3D campaign in Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto with a 28’, 7,000 pound roulette wheel.

The ‘It’s a Wild Ride’ campaign launched on the South side of the AOB tower earlier this month. The campaign features a 28-foot roulette wheel holding 11 roller coaster chairs with six lifesized mannequins seated inside.

The work behind the scenes was impressive: The roulette wheel took 12 people 522 hours to build over the course of a month. The installation took 17 installers six days to complete and involved scaling the 16-story Atrium on Bay Media Tower.

Fallsview has a history of innovative Out-of-Home campaigns that push the envelope with creative executions. CCC has produced and installed many other ambitious projects for Fallsview including a 3D helicopter suspended on the AOB tower, a mannequin climbing a mountain of poker chips, and a 3D poker chip plate with knife and fork which had an augmented reality feature.

Fallsview has also done many billboard executions on the Gardiner expressway including giant 3D underwear hanging on a clothesline, a 62’ wide x 26’ high 3D license plate, and a current campaign which features a man escaping the city in his car with extensions for his hair and tie.

The 3D add-ons transformed this new Fallsview roulette wheel billboard into a dynamic campaign that has captured the attention of commuters and local traffic in Yonge-Dundas Square. It’s certainly original!
