Brian Dusho No Longer at @civiqscapes

Gail Chiasson, North American Editor

We learned officially Wednesday afternoon that Brian Dusho resigned from Civiq Smartscapes last Monday.

Dusho had only joined the company last October as president of the DOOH division. He had earlier headed BroadSign.

“I don’t know Dusho’s plans but I expect that he’ll take a few months off and then look for new challenges,” Brad Gleeson, Civiq’s chief commercial officer told us. “In the meantime, we are spread very thin and are trying to live up to all our commitments while looking for staff to handle various positions.”

We understand that Gleeson himself will handle the second keynote and panel positions at DSS in Munich later this month for which Dusho had been scheduled.

“We have a lot to handle right now, having acquired Elevate Digital a few months ago and now have just acquired Vertigo Digital displays,” said Gleeson. George Burciaga, former CEO at Elevate, is handling sales and all our government and municipal affairs business where he has lots of contacts. Ralph Idems, former managing director at Vertigo, is managing sales and our DOOH and software management. We all report to Erwin Rezelman, who is president now of the whole company.”

Gleeson spoke to us between meetings at #InfoComm16 where he was spending one day.

“We are just trying to cover everything,” he said, reiterating that “We’re just spread very thin right now.”
