A new digital Out of Home campaign promoting awareness of a short film supported by UNHCR (the UN Refugee Agency) will combine the reach of screen networks on London Taxis thanks to taxi advertising experts Verifone Media and BrightMove Media.

Chris Watling of full service creative agency BBH comments “We’re pleased to bring ‘HOME’ to London’s attention with the exclusive help of digital taxi top advertising from BrightMove and Verifone Media. The film’s topic is on everybody’s consciousness at the moment and this joined-up activity will ensure that it’s seen by London’s creative community and avid film-goers alike across the capital, day and night.”

Jim Cohen, Sales and Marketing Director at Verifone Media explained “We are extremely proud to be part of such a significant cross-media owner campaign which a cause such as the UNHCR truly merits. We hope that the combined reach of 900 screens on taxis across London will ensure that this advertising goes unmissed.”

Jamie Lindsay, Chief Executive at BrightMove Media added, “We’re delighted to work with BBH to support this incredibly important project for the UNHCR and World Refugee Day. ‘HOME’ deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible and our digital taxi top advertising will ensure that it builds up a strong awareness across London. Our digital taxi tops are working 24/7 making taxis a great choice to reach Londoners when they’re out and about.”

Black Sheep Studios, Somesuch and Dokufest have put together’HOME’, a short film from the BAFTA-winning filmmaker Daniel Mulloy and endorsed by UNHCR. Starring Jack O’Connell and Holliday Grainger, ‘HOME’ explores the theme of migration and aims to remind the viewer that refugees are just like you or I – fathers, mothers, sons and daughters – for whom the meaning of the word ‘home’ has undergone a traumatic re-evaluation.
