Joan Red Dot Award 2016

We believe that Joan is the first ever digital door label to receive the Red Dot Award. This year it beat out a record number of competing entries – almost 5,200 from 57 countries.

The jury of 41 design professionals selected Joan due to its superb minimalism, ease of use and innovative epaper technology, and stated that “with its intelligent technology and a versatile appearance, Joan Meeting Room Assistant meets the needs of a digitally-dominated world of work.”

Matej Zalar, CEO of Visionect, told us “Joan’s Red Dot Award is proof of dedicated teamwork. It’s a proud moment for us. Our efforts to develop an intelligent and easy to use solution for a modern workplace have been recognized and it’s a wonderful feeling.”

Joan is billed as the most advanced digital door label and meeting room scheduling solution on the market. It was developed with insights from its earliest users such as Microsoft, Dell, DreamWorks and others and now offers an intuitive, easy-to-use device that meets market and user needs with its easy set-up, integration into existing calendars and impeccable energy efficiency.
