Those Storefronts Had Been Busy For A While, Actually

If you give the mainstream press enough time they will finally catch up with you – it was after all ONLY 53 weeks ago that we wrote about the likes of WIndowgain [1] taking advantage of vacant storefronts.

Even much earlier than that, back in September 2007 in fact is our first recorded description of ‘Vacant Storefronts’ – Motomedia who we believe very much pioneered this space [2] using empty storefronts in shopping malls.

Nevertheless Stephanie Clifford has written a good story in the NY TImes ‘As Storefronts Become Vacant, Ads Arrive [3]‘ which prominently makes mention of much of the work done in the US by the folks at Inwindow Outdoor.
