Hydro II, @ForrestMedia1’s Stunning New @Daktronics Billboard
Scotland’s leading digital OOH media owner, Forrest Media, unveiled the Hydro II in Glasgow last month (and 10 other LEDs as well).
The Hydro II is comprised of two stunning synchronised ‘twin’ Daktronics LED landscape digital screens fronting the forthcoming Hotel and Leisure Development, the Glasgow Hydro Arena, and in direct proximity to Glasgow’s media city which houses the BBC and STV television facilities and Capital Radio amongst others.
The twin screens, each 33 sqm, are 8mm Daktronics LED and look great, but what we really like is that the frame and base are produced from ‘Alucabond‘ – a metal cladding that appears to change colour as you move around it. It is, we are told, the same material that will be used clad the new Radisson Red Hotel which will open in February 2018 overlooking the new screens.
