Samsung Launch Nexshop DPM

Andrew Neale

It would appear that Samsung has now officially launched Nexshop DPM which they bill as their ‘next generation’ CMS platform.

Samsung Netshop appears to consists of four solutions:

  • Samsung Nexshop Marketing for efficient store management
  • Samsung Nexshop Sales Mobility for comprehensive operation and management of the entire sales activities in retail stores
  • Samsung Nexshop Training for sales capability enhancement
  • Samsung Netshop DPM (Digital Place Marketing) for effective digital advertising

Will this go the way of Intel’s Retail Client Manager?indeed, when was the last time you heard about that Ed. For those established vendors in our #DSTop25 who are real fanboyz of Samsung, maybe you’d be a little worried about Samsung’s commitment to SoC (and you).

Will their software partners burst into flames… like a Samsung Note 7?

Expect denials that it is actually a CMS, then spin (the customer called us). Of course the entire sales team will be tasked with calling on each end user who was suckered into SoC. The long established back door will be opened.
