Folks heading into London for The DailyDOOH Gala Awards interested in AV have another event to make their trip worthwhile. This new AV Connections thought leadership event has two speakers who both have unique insights as to the influence AV technology is having on today’s modern working environments and the wider world outside the workplace.
- Deon Newman, CMO / VP Marketing IBM Watson Internet of Things. The Internet of Things (IoT) is widely regarded as one of the hottest phenomena in technology and business today, as it evolves from simply gathering data from connected objects to embedding capabilities in them to dramatically change the way we live and work. Deon will discuss just how IBM Watson is helping make this shift a reality and how IoT is informing huge changes in today’s new working environments.
- Simon Reveley, Founder Figment Productions. From underwater pirates to virtual reality roller coasters, Figment delivers unique and ground-breaking AV projects for the visitor attractions industry –particularly through its work with Merlin Entertainments. Simon likes to push technology it to its limits to entertain and inspire, and will explain how a positive emotional response to tech is just as important when it comes to creating productive, tech-infused work spaces as it is in our leisure time.
