Final #ISE2017 Twitter Analysis

Two big shows to start the year and interestingly our sister site aka.tv shows that the twitter traffic for both #CES2017 (detailed here) and #ISE2017 were both 10% down on the previous year AND both were the first year that either show did not see a year-on-year increase.

ISE2017 Final Twitter Analysis

Whilst at #CES2017 the headline number of tweets was down, the other totals were up; impressions up 15%, users tweeting up 9%, and users reached up 26% but at #ISE2017 the headline number of tweets was down, impressions were down, users tweeting was only up by 401 users – bearing in mind that the actual show attendance increased by 8,000 or so to 73,413 – although the number of users reached was also up.

Here’s our final #ISE2017 twitter analysis for the last 30 days: –

No. of Tweets: 32,874 (down 10.5% from 2016)
No. of Twitter impressions: 143,011,902 (down 13.6% from 2016)
No. of Twitter users who tweeted: 5,564 (up by 401)
No. of Twitter users reached: 20,321,608 (an increase of 37% over 2016)
Highest number of tweets per hour was 527 – achieved at 12:00 on the second day of the show, Wednesday Feb 8, 2017.

For comparison here are the #ISE2016 totals at a glance: –

No. of Tweets: 36,711 (an increase of 64% over 2015)
No. of Twitter impressions: 162,572,468
No. of Twitter users who tweeted: 5,163 (an increase of almost 49% over 2015)
No. of Twitter users reached: 12,773,061
The highest number of tweets per hour was 561 – achieved at 10:00 CET on the first day of the show, Tuesday Feb 9, 2016.
