JCDecaux Wins Luxembourg National Railways Advertising

JCDecaux SA (Euronext Paris: DEC) has announced that its subsidiary JCDecaux Luxembourg has won, following a call for tenders, the exclusive advertising concession of the National Company of Luxembourg Railways (CFL), for a period of eight years.

JCDecaux, has been present with the bus shelters in Luxembourg since 1986, for the service Vél’oh! since 2008, as well as for the Lux Airport advertising network since 2014. In 2018, JCDecaux will install, manage and market advertising devices for stations in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, which, with 22.5 million passengers per year, is the largest transport company in the country.

JCDecaux will provide CFL with its expertise and know-how to optimize both the passenger experience and the visibility of advertisers, by digitizing the devices in the central station of the capital city of Luxembourg.

These new digital furniture will give advertisers greater flexibility, both in terms of planning and segmentation of the audience. Smart tools will develop dynamic content and change real-time campaigns based on, for example, weather, sports results or other.
