Amscreen Appoints Digicom

Digicom, officially launched in London 1st January this year and run by Tom Goddard, previously International CEO for CBS Outdoor has just announced that they have been selected by Amscreen to drive national digital media sales for the latters new BP contract and future users of Amscreen.

Simon Sugar told us ‘We believe the team at Digicom is best placed to deliver the crucial element of national media sales to the Amscreen network. We are partnering an experienced sales house that understands how to sell the unique qualities of the BP proposition as well as future users of the Amscreen network. Tom Goddard and the team at Digicom have shown that they have the ambition and the investment to create a top class technical platform to deliver media revenues. We look forward to working with them as our business grows”

The new BP network will initially be in some 335 stores and will include BP Connect stores, Wild Bean cafes and Marks & Spencer franchises nationally. It will offer a mix of content using Amscreen’s bespoke ‘Plug and play’ technology, including travel information as well now as advertising content provided by Digicom.

    I wish them both well but believe its going to be a tough job for this network to wash its own face based on previous ad based networks, if you can’t make it work in Tesco it’s got to be hard work in a corner shop.
