Charlotte Douglas International Airport & @intersection_co Extend Advertising Contract

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Intersection has announced a five-year extension of its advertising partnership with Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), with a mutual option to extend the contract for another five years.

Intersection first partnered with CLT in 2013, winning a competitive contract for the exclusive rights to sell advertising across the airport’s static and digital assets, including banners, wraps, spectaculars, dominations, wall dioramas, floor exhibits, and digital signage at baggage claim, main atrium, phone centers, and charging stations. As part of the new five-year agreement, which now extends through June 30, 2023, Intersection will also make a substantial investment to upgrade CLT’s existing digital display network, sell advertising on the CLT Wi-Fi advertising portal, and install additional digital displays in the airport’s new concourse area.
