Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

Youth OOH specialist, Popcorn Outdoor, is today (June 1, 2018) launching its largest ever Digital OOH Network, branded ‘PopBox’, for display this Autumn.

Freshers and undergraduates at UK Universities, including Oxford, Cambridge and all key Russell Group members, will see the PopBox DOOH pack at the Welcome Fairs that begin in September 2018. PopBox will deliver over 18.6 million impressions from over one million of the brightest and keenest Millennials.

Popcorn will use a range of digital formats in Students’ Unions, bars, campus locations and music venues. Four National Packages are available, each with 200 digital locations at 60 top University and music venues.

Mark Bowyer, National Sales Director told us “We are genuinely delighted to bring PopBox to market. The technology is first class, and the students seeing it are a valuable advertising audience. Over half of millennials now go on to Further Education, and PopBox reaches the best of them at a hugely competitive price point”.

Popcorn Outdoor claims to be the leading youth Out of Home media company in the UK. It has commercial partnerships with Students’ Unions and music venues. Sister brand Rock Box delivers the OOH solutions at over 100 student bar and music venues. Music venues include all O2 Academy Music Group, and independents such as Barrowlands, Joiners Arms and Tramshed. Brands to have embraced Popcorn in 2018 include Barclaycard, Red Bull, O2 and CCS, the Government’s communication arm.
