The Experience United Social Club, #XUSC, #NYDSW

For the first time ever, New York Digital Signage Week [1] has not one, but two events in a borough other than Manhattan, as thanks to OpenEye Global’s Bryan Meszaros and to SEGD, the Ministry of New Media has its first ever events that will take place in Brooklyn!

[2]The Experience United Social Club [3] is a gathering of AV, brand experience, marketing, and design professionals who will be getting together during the week for no other reason than to hang out at a cool bar, share some laughs, and unwind away from all of the corporate events.

This first ever gathering of socialites takes place at the Other Half Brewery, Brooklyn [4] on October 31, from 7 to 10 pm.

It’s described as an ‘underground industry event’ and the sort-of crowd they are expecting includes; industry influencers, bloggers, podcasters, thought-leaders, brands, vendors, agencies, installers, fabricators – in fact, pretty much anyone who brings the experience of a brand to life!

Socialites are expected to exchange ideas, share experiences, build relationships, tweet using #XUSC and no doubt have a few drinks! You can register here [3].

OpenEye Global are just one of the many companies holding an event during #NYDSW. There is still time for you to put on your own pop-up event**. The week’s official sponsors are: BARCO, Brightsign, Captivate, Digital Signage Expo, Digital Signage Federation, Peerless AV, Trueform and the Metropolitan Transit Authority.

Thanks to the DPAA, the official hotel for New York Digital Signage Week [1] is New York’s iconic Roosevelt Hotel, known as the ‘Grande Dame of Madison Avenue’. A limited number of sleeping rooms have been reserved at a preferred rate for delegates attending any event during New York Digital Signage Week.

** To help people put on their own events, we’ve created ‘Your Guide To Creating a Pop-Up Event During New York Digital Signage Week’, email Russcurry@gmail.com if you want a copy, which explains how easy and beneficial doing something during the week can be.
