The UK’s largest commercial radio group Global has acquired both Outdoor Plus and Primesight. The new business, which is to be called Global Outdoor, is estimated to have cost more than GBP 200m.
We understand that Outdoor Plus Founder and CEO Jonathan Lewis and Primesight’s CEO Naren Patel will transition with their respective businesses to Global Outdoor, which will be overseen by Stephen Miron, Global’s Group CEO.
Global Outdoor will work alongside Global’s radio business but interestingly it seems that the two businesses, Outdoor Plus and Primesight will continue to run as standalone entities.
