More Hires At @infiLED_EM

Infiled EM International Ltd. are continuing their rapid expansion with the announcement this week of three new hires in the UK.

  • Mark Powell joins as New Business Development Consultant where, we are told, he will support and manage the growing sales team at Infiled EM. Mark has had a long and successful career working for leading IT and mobile Telecoms organisations in a variety of sales and international business development roles, including Apple Computer, Motorola, Telefonica and BT. Mark will be responsible for appointing and working alongside, some of Europe’s leading AV integrators and specialist consultant organisations, as Infiled continue to grow their ever increasing presence and technical resource in the UK. Mark was previously Sales Director at Bauer Digital Limited for almost three years and before that with Telefonica for many years.
  • Jonathan Hall joins the Infiled EM Sports Division where he will be in charge of strategic delivery. Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in sport ranging from senior leadership roles at The FA and the Rugby Football Union, to the commercial world of IMG and the LED sports signage company, Techfront, where he was CEO. He entered the sports world after gradutaing from Cambridge University and training as a lawyer at US law firm Baker & McKenzie. He has first-hand experience of running major sports governing bodies and was Company Secretary of the RFU in the early days of professional rugby when the game was starting to modernise. At the FA he was Director of Governance and then Director of Football Services for 11 years where he was responsible for football administration and the relationship with the game’s stakeholders including the professional leagues, semi-professional and amateur games as well as UEFA and FIFA. More recently he has regularly advised various sports bodies including British Judo, Table Tennis England, English and UK Ice Hockey and is an advisor to the Board of the global sports charity Laureus. He also works closely with UEFA on strategic planning for European national associations.
  • Andy Bignell has joined as the Creative Consultant Director of client services. He is passionate about the need and quality in the design and creation of dynamic content, in DOOH, with special focus on sports installation CMS platforms, having worked closely with UEFA Champions League and other global sporting bodies. Andy will be responsible for providing full creative solution services for both Infiled Sports customers, as well as developing specialist creative content solutions in the retail, entertainment, transportation, leisure and live events.

infiLED EM CEO David Da Costa told us “We are continuing to recruit some amazing new people. This is testament we believe to what we have achieved in a few short years. Our sales of LED are booming and we are clearly leading the way with our Sports and Entertainment division”.
