New VMO Impact Formats in Auckland and Wellington

VMO continues its growth in the New Zealand Outdoor advertising market with addition of two large screen formats in Auckland and Wellington. VMO diversified into large screen ‘Impact’ format last year with the launch of its Shortland Street screen and the demand for this format in major commuter thoroughfares has been significant.

Anthony Deeble, Chief Commercial Officer told us “Our VMO network is delivering on broadening the offering as the market demand has increased. We have seen significant desire for additional high-quality formats in key commuter hubs in the past year, so we are excited to launch these two sites. These screens are designed to engage professionals with impact in these high pedestrian traffic areas in both Auckland and Wellington.”

Located in Chancery Square the three 75-inch high definition 4k portrait screens are located in the heart of the Auckland CBD. The newly installed screens are the first of VMO screens in both a commercial and retail precinct.

The Wellington large digital screen format is in the iconic and highly sought-after Spark building. Situated in the heart of the main reception area it captures 100% of pedestrian traffic in the Spark building. This is the second large format screen to be launched in the network and the first of its kind in Wellington.

Matt Tremain, NZ Sales Director said “Our VMO network now reaches over 700,000 working professionals each week. Our large screen formats give advertisers the opportunity to elevate their brand status, increase saliency and maximise cut through. We are excited to see key clients come on board for the launch of these screens and experience first-hand the broadening of our offering.”

VMO Work now has over 150 screens across New Zealand.
