Ad-Vantage Media Joins The Outdoor Media Association New Zealand (OMANZ)

New Zealand’s oldest independent billboard company, Ad-Vantage Media is joining the Outdoor Media Association New Zealand (OMANZ) and will, effective immediately join oOh!Media, QMS, JCDecaux and Media5 as a Display Member of the association.

Outdoor Media Association New Zealand (OMANZ) Chairman Nick Vile told us “2019/2020 is going to be a period of significant growth for OMANZ and the Out-Of-Home Industry with many key initiatives planned at a sector level, to ensure our medium remains relevant to advertisers and our agency partners. We are focused on broadening the membership of OMANZ and working collaboratively as a group to develop a world leading industry body. Current initiatives include strategic planning, development of a singular approach to Audience Measurement , ongoing effectiveness research and consumer insight projects, plus working closely with Councils and Government agencies to develop transparency in regulatory processes ”.

“With the many challenges and opportunities ahead , it is vitally important for OMANZ to be supported by a wide breadth of Out-Of-Home vendors and be truly representative of the sector in New Zealande. The Outdoor Media Association of NZ (OMANZ) is a not-for-profit, professional, cohesive industry body, representing key Outdoor Media display companies who collectively contribute approx. 87% of total out of home advertising industry revenue.

OMANZ’s key focus is to educate and raise awareness of the role of Out-Of-Home media within the community, to build and sustain relations with its key stakeholders, to develop best practice industry standards and to provide services to its members.

OMANZ is governed by a board of directors who are all committed and passionate about raising the profile of out of home advertising in the New Zealand market. Members of OMANZ adhere to a Code of Practice and abide by the regulatory frameworks in which they operate.
