We have not one but two fresh ideas for presentation sessions at The DailyDOOH Investor Conference (TDIC), now in its 14th year which takes place on Wednesday October 16, 2019 slap bang in the middle of New York Digital Signage Week (Oct 14-18, 2019).
The first of these is entitled Why Build When You Can Buy, Why Buy When You Can Rent? And we have invited four of the biggest digital signage software vendors in North America to put a senior executive on stage. Paul Fleuranges, former Director, Corporate Initiatives, State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority and former Vice President, Corporate Communications, New York City Transit, DSF Treasurer and Director, Federation for Internet Alerts has kindly agreed to lead the ensuing debate.
The angle is not necessarily who is better than whom (like any business, they all have strengths and weaknesses of course) but I see this debate, very much as panelists pushing their strengths in various verticals. There’s also a useful aside here in how all of these companies have grown by acquisition and how they’ve typically had to decide on the best way forward for the various CMS systems that they have acquired over the years.
On stage will be: –
- Burr Smith | Chairman, President & CEO | BroadSign
- Fab Stanghieri | EVP and General Manager | Cineplex Digital Media
- Rick Mills | CEO | CRI
- Sam Losar | CEO | YCD
In the last 18-24 months, thanks to those above and STRATACACHE of course, consolidation in the digital signage has finally started to happen. Personally, I think this debate is long overdue and it will be great putting the best digital signage software vendors on stage. I think this will be one of the highlights of the day.
