DPAA, the leading global organization working to drive out-of-home into its digital future, announced today that Mesmerize, an out-of-home media company specializing in providing patient education at the point-of-care, has joined the association.
Barry Frey, DPAA President & CEO, told us “Mesmerize provides a tremendously valuable service – for both consumers and advertisers — that advances patient education solutions at the point-of-care. We welcome them into our community of members and were pleased they were able to join us at our Video Everywhere Summit on October 15.”
Mesmerize, a prominent out-of-home media company specializing in providing patient education at the point-of-care, announced its acquisition of Pharmacy Health Network (PHN), the only out-of-home digital network dedicated to retail pharmacies.
With digital screens in over 1,100 pharmacies nationwide, the network enables advertisers to repurpose traditional TV spots to reach both patients waiting to fill their prescriptions and general shoppers right before the point of purchase.
Craig Mait, Mesmerize President & CRO, said “Barry and his team have done a great job in helping to take point of care into its digital future, and we are excited about having the opportunity to work with them to further develop our footprint.”
The acquisition also kickstarts Mesmerize’s development of digital screens in specialty doctors’ offices and community-based organizations where they currently have static media. The network will offer even more high-impact options for their partners as Mesmerize continues to provide patient education at the point of care in 2020.
Mesmerize is a specialty out-of-home advertising company focused in three primary areas: point-of-care, point-of-sale, and transit. Mesmerize, under the BriteVision name, also produces custom coffee sleeves for cafés, convenience stores and other distribution partners. Mesmerize is headquartered in New York, NY and Oakland, CA.
