Paul J. Fleuranges Joins @PearlMedia

Paul J. Fleuranges has joined Pearl Media as Senior Vice President of Marketing. He joins Pearl Media after spending 17 years in various communications leadership positions at NYC Transit and the NYS Metropolitan Transportation Authority.

The industry knows and loves Paul as a dynamic and performance-driven corporate communications professional. He was also instrumental in leading the switchover to the digitisation of customer information in the NYC Subway environment.

As SVP, Marketing he will be responsible for all of the day-to-day marketing and promotional activities of the organisation and will serve as the main communications point of contact for the company, managing all company communications.

Paul is a leading voice in the digital signage and Digital Out of Home ecosystem, and sits on the Board of the Digital Signage Federation (DSF) where he is currently a member of the Executive Committee serving as Treasurer. Since 2012 Paul has also been a member of the Advisory Board to Digital Signage Expo (DSE). He also serves as a Director for the Federation of Internet Alerts (FIA).

Paul told us yesterday “I’ve watched with interest from afar as Pearl Media established itself as a unique company in the DOOH space. Pearl’s network of place-based digital signage screens and large format OOH located in mixed-use commercial spaces in prime real estate locations is unrivaled in the industry and I’m looking forward to telling that story and helping to attract quality brands and creative to our networks and screens.”

In his most previous role as the director of NYC Transit’s omni-channel communications and messaging strategies, Paul oversaw all marketing and public information campaigns. He drove the transition from paper signage and messaging to digital and social media, ensuring that accurate on point messaging was delivered to millions of customers daily. He led the development and end-to-end operations for the On-The-Go Travel Station (OTG) network of interactive kiosks that provided customers access to a full suite of transit tools and the activation of an internal digital screen network in support of an integrated and strategic communications plan.

Paul lives in Queens, New York with his wife and family and is a graduate of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.
