#COVID19 @ComQi Pulls Out of #dse2020

Adrian J Cotterill, Editor-in-Chief

ComQi have participated in DSE since its inception more than 15 years ago, so it must have been exceptionally hard for them to announce earlier this week that they are pulling out of exhibiting due to #COVID19 concerns.

In an online statement they said “The health and safety of our customers and employees is ComQi’s number one priority. Following the World Health Organization’s (WHO) declaration that the coronavirus outbreak constitutes a Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) and after closely monitoring the details around the presence of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the US, ComQi has decided to withdraw from exhibiting at this year’s Digital Signage Expo (DSE) scheduled for Las Vegas in early April“.

They told us also that they deeply regretted having to make this difficult decision and that all related meetings and discussions will be rescheduled either by phone or in a more private setting.

We also heard today that Daktronics, Dynascan and Four Winds Interactive are no longer exhibiting.
